Warming up next to a piece of history

The air conditioning in my office is set to “meat locker.” The downside is that I am wrapped in blankets like it’s mid-winter and not July. The upside is that it’s forced me to not have lunch at my desk.

I came outside to warm up and found a sunny bench right outside the Pemberton Chapel. It’s a lovely little piece of history across from the oldest surgery on Vancouver Island.

Sunshine. Quiet reflection. A little piece of history. This is a lovely lunch break.
