The pretty town of Port McNeill

If there’s is one thing I love about this temporary assignment for work, it is seeing Vancouver Island in all its beauty. After a very full day of travel, this pretty sunset out my hotel window caps my day.

A skill I didn’t know I needed when I got elected was how to conduct myself at large events. Although I would consider myself to have reasonably good manners, there were times at networking events when I realized I needed more skills. Sometimes the advice to “just be yourself” is very limiting. Better advice would be “learn the proper manners for every environment”. #manners #networking #etiquette #changingadvice #awesomeetiquette @emilypostinstitute
Here is something you might not know: most of the photos I post are selfies. Over the pandemic, I thought it would be interesting to learn more about framing, lighting, and angles. The problem, of course, is that taking photos of friends is not possible when you can’t treat casual contact so... casually. Thankfully I found a model who has the same patience I do. #selfies #selfienation #selfietime #instaselfie #face

I just saw a very long post from someone who challenged women to post photos of themselves without makeup. This is me without makeup. We can just add it to the zillion other photos of me without makeup. But while we are pausing to admire my garbage can (in the background), can we talk about why it is no one’s business what a woman looks like without makeup?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Look how tall I am. I'm a giant!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
